Deidre Foley is a data and multimedia journalist with experience reporting on local news, homelessness and housing, and health. She has reported everywhere she’s lived — New York City, the countryside of Nagasaki, Japan, and San Francisco, her home base (and hometown).

Her work has been published in outlets including Bay City News/Local News Matters, SFGate, Bklyner, and the NYCity News Service.

She recently graduated from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY with an M.A. in Journalism.

In her free time Deidre might be cafe hopping, dancing and posting on socials for her yosakoi team, or reading her latest library find.
